With only $10,000 to our name, we launched our eCommerce brand on Amazon!
With only $10,000 and a rush of adrenaline, we kick-started our e-commerce journey. Getting our first few sales is something neither of us will ever forget!
Our first big milestones and first $10,000 day!
We achieved our first taste of success when our products started ranking at the top of their categories on Amazon. We hit our initial monthly targets and ended the year on a high note, paving the way for our brand's growing reputation.
Achieved 2.5 million in revunue and our first $100,000 day!
With just a handful of products, we managed to generate a staggering $2.5 million in revenue solely on Amazon.
It was a remarkable feat that attested to the rapid growth of our brand and the value we offered to our customers.
Achieved 4.5 million in revenue & launched our Shopify Website
With a successful brand and a growing customer base, we decided to venture beyond Amazon, launching our own Shopify website.
We quickly realized this was a whole new world of eCommerce for us to learn.
This was a significant step in broadening our horizons, and we ended the year with a substantial $4.5 million in revenue, primarily on Amazon.
Moved from our 20x10 storage unit to a 1,100 square foot warehouse
Our steady growth necessitated the expansion of our logistics capabilities. We moved out of our humble 20x10 storage unit and into our first full-fledged 1,100 sq ft warehouse.
Suddenly, the sheer volume of our business was tangible, the products we were selling no longer abstract sales figures but physical items we could touch and feel. The experience was an exciting reminder of the scale of our impact.
Moved again into 16,000 square feet of warehouse to support the growth & our website achieved its first million dollar year!
In November 2018, we expanded our warehouse, a strategic move to support the growth of our brand.
As well, our continued education and determination lead us to achieve our first million-dollar milestone on our website in 2019!
Launched our community
We launched our community in January of 2020. Little did we know, this would completely transform our brand in multiple ways.
This community allowed us to connect with our customers on a deeper level, helped us scale and gave us more fulfillment knowing that our brand was impacting the lives of many!
Sold our brand!
We did it! After 7 long years we achieved our goal and sold our brand! This was such an exciting milestone for us that brought a wave of emotions. We sold our baby... what do we do now? What's our next step? We're so excited! But woah, it's finally over?!
We'll never forget the day we woke up and the deal was done. We packed up our warehouse and began brainstorming our next adventure.
Began sharing our knowledge with others
The sale of our brand opened a new chapter in our lives. We began public speaking, sharing our experiences, insights, and lessons learned, inspiring others to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys.
Launched Challenge Makers
After Alicia's first speech, she began receiving requests from multiple brands asking to learn more about building engaged communities.
So we launched Challenge Makers, a comprehensive course and service that has helped several brands build communities, serve their customers better and ultimately scale their business while making a better impact on the lives of their customers.
Began traveling and scaled our coaching and consulting
We were finally able to realize our dream and travel the country in a motorhome! We explored 25 states and 35 national parks, enjoying every moment of realizing the efforts of our hard work.
However, eager to continue making an impact, we kept growing our coaching and consulting business on the road! We made several amazing connections and found a new fulfillment in helping other brands grow by building strong communities and connecting deeper with their customers.
Began buidling our investments
Selling our brand was absolutely thrilling! But we were determined to make sure we could turn the proceeds into passive income, allowing us financial freedom to explore new opportunities.
We began exploring real estate and have since invested in single family real estate, car washes and multi-family real estate.
Adopted our best friend!
At the end of 2022 our family grew with the most adorable, goofy boy named Remi.
If we are being honest... we just wanted to add this picture because c'mon look at that face! And he is now one of our proudest additions to our lives.
Challenge Makers Boom
Our coaching and consulting business continued to thrive. To date, we've empowered numerous brands through group sessions, personalized coaching, and even comprehensive brand revamps where we took the helm and spearheaded their growth strategies.
Successfully Doubled a Brands Revenue
At this point, we've had the privilege of directly impacting numerous brands by helping them scale their revenue.
One of our proudest moments, however, was successfully doubling a brand's revenue. We were not just a guiding hand, but a driving force, as we dramatically propelled a brand's monthly revenue from $200,000 to a staggering $400,000! And added an additional 1.3 million in revenue and counting since our engagement began.
Took equity position in a brand
This year saw us branching out in new directions. We took our first equity position in a brand, leveraging our knowledge and experience to play a more integral role in shaping the business.
Launched Of Impact
Two years after selling our brand, during which we assisted other brands in their growth and pondered our next steps, we discovered our greatest joy lies in amplifying others' impact through building purposeful businesses.
And in August 2023, we established "Of Impact" to continue our mission of supporting entrepreneurs at all levels!
